Wright Defence Ltd is wholly owned by Patrick Wright who began his career in protective services in 2008. During his career Mr. Wright maintained professional security agency licensing on behalf of other corporations in California, Connecticut, Texas and Florida. Eight years of his experience was dedicated to highly regulated facets of physical security such as federal, municipal, state or private contracts that worked alongside or under the oversight of agencies such as DOE, BLM, DOD/OPM, FAA/TSA, and FDA/DEA. 

 

Patrick Wright has been teaching safe firearm handling since 2012.  In 2019 obtaining nationally recognized law enforcement instructor credentials, and expanding what had started as teaching friends as a hobby.  Given his experience in personal protection services, his classes are taught from the standard of a responsible prudent person - and not from a position of authority.  Having used judicious caution throughout his professional career, he has never been professionally subject to litigation. Any advice or consulting on the administration of physical security is from a risk adverse perspective. At Wright Defence, we strive to be ethical & honest in all our dealings and relationships.
